Missy Williams, Owner & Digital Strategist

Missy’s background in marketing varies, working both in-house and at various agencies throughout my career. She started working in more traditional marketing — public relations, sales support, creating in-house ads, promotions, and events — and quickly evolved into digital marketing as it became more prevalent.

She’s worked with both small local businesses all the way up to fortune 500 companies to support their website management, social media marketing, and SEO needs.

Missy found her ultimate passion was helping businesses use their website to drive traffic through SEO and content marketing, which she believes is one of the most efficient ways to grow an online presence. Her experience is in a variety of industries, including higher education, healthcare, B2B manufacturing, eCommerce, non-profits, financial and legal services, local businesses, and more.

A little about Missy personally…

She was born and raised in a small town in Akron, OH, now called New Franklin, to wonderful parents who taught her the value of hard work, how to express herself creatively, and to defy convention when necessary. As the youngest of 10 kids and aunt/great aunt to over 40 (and counting), she’s always been a kid at heart and love spending time with her large family.

Some of her favorite pastimes include listening to music (growing up on Whitney Houston and Cyndi Lauper and other 80s bands), singing, playing sports, and baking with her mom. After attending John Carroll University in Cleveland where she studied marketing, she began her marketing career at Great Lakes Publishing. Her love for music and singing gave way to my pursuit of a singer-songwriter career in Los Angeles, where she lived and played music for nearly 7 years. She always came back to her love for marketing and spending time with her family and decided to move back to Ohio in 2010.

Since moving back, she’s worked in digital marketing, ran a side baking business, and always found time to watch her local sports teams with friends or family. After working at a Cleveland-based agency for 7 years, Missy took the leap and started her own digital marketing consulting business so she can work with businesses she feels passionate about helping and provides the work that she think will really help drive business through their websites.
